December 19,2005 - Kubang Pasu, Kedah. The situation in Kedah getting worst especially in my sdistrinct, Kubang Pasu. I was on the way to Alor Star and suprised by the floods in my town, Kepala Batas. Hutan Kampung - Alor Star road was closed.So, I have to take the airport road to Alor Star and the journey was smooth. but things getting worst when I want to go home. I was stuck in traffic 3 times at Mentaloon, Tmn Aman and in front the airport. The water level was increased within 2 hours. I was told that the road will be closed very soon. So, I have to go through the floodwaters or not able to get home for 2 days. At 5.15pm, I went out to see the situation to a few places such as Bandar Darul Aman, Kampung Naga, Kg. Lubuk Kawah and many more kampungs around Jitra. Woww, the worst ever happen in my district.
